A 7 minute meditation that juxtaposes a domestic bliss while romanticizing the mundane everyday (like going to Costco) and the geographic/agricultural/social chaos that arises elsewhere. Kind of like a more politicized version of what we’re expecting the title track to be. 

It starts off with sparse guitar instrumentation and transforms into an ambient, psychedelic rock tune - kind of like a more Jimi Hendrix-inspired version of Venice Bitch! I think electric guitars make for a lot of good word-painting when it comes to fires and a more “heated” atmosphere. That’s why I think White Hot Forever will have some guitar instrumentation that’s glittery and glamorous with some wah-wah elements!

The photos don’t really scream COCC to me .. I expected some yellowy-tinted filter a la 50s-60s photography with that sort of aesthetic but I guess until we see the finished pics, we won’t know. I am staying hopeful

Okay this is a DELUSIONAL stretch like next level so I don’t want no think pieces on how stupid I am but .. that twitch stream Lana was caught on, that’s such a coincidence isn’t it? Very weird. What if it was intentional? Right before she’s seen, the streamer is talking about Halloween and writes down ‘October 31st’ and gets like a ‘correct’ message on his quiz. Anyway, COCC confirmed release October 31st.

Lana's hair stylist was on a shoot and he made a story with the words "secret garden and luscious blooms", perhaps hinting at new Lana lyrics, or he was just in the moment and typed whatever came to his mind

This aesthetic initially came to my mind too! I think for me it was because she was posting a lot of B&W/sepia toned selfies, videos, and images of her surroundings in this filter. I think her flannel in the b&w also really contributes nicely to a grittier, more aged atmosphere! I love it.
