Edit: arcadia is such a title track name! i really wonder what album concepts she was oscillating between before landing on the final album title. conceptually, could there be many differences between how the album plays out if it is titled blue banisters or arcadia? imo they all land in the same place conceptually and thematically: a peaceful lil abode

I just found out that Arcadia is in LA surrounded by the Sierra Madre AND its neighbor is Pasadena, where Summertime Sadness was filmed  she’s coming for the collapse of society, a cultural reset of the size of not Sierra Madre but Mount Everest 

The Summertime Sadness video is probably my favorite music video, I‘m so fucking happy omfg
