The problems I have this record are almost like an inverse of Lust for Life. These are all mostly incredible songs, but there is something about the track-listing arrangement or maybe an addition of too many older songs that makes it feel like a collection of songs rather than an album

This I disagree with. Sweet Carolina is a highlight for me and is up there with Get Free and hope.

ok…seeing how this track seems to be a lot of people’s favourite, please don’t attack me right now BUT, black bathing suit sounds unfinished? the verses and the chorus do not sound cohesive and its her weakest vocals on the record IMO.

Black Bathing Suit is bad and Beautiful is the worst song on the album. I'm sorry. I see what she was trying to do, but she didn't quite get there.
