I'm not too concerned about the song length, I'd rather have a 2 minute song that's really good than a 5 minute song that drags  Of course a 5 minute long good song would be ideal, but I mean, it's being used for a TV show. A shorter length might mean we get to hear the full song on the show

this is what happens when you do a soundtrack song for a show popular with gen-z 

until the late 60s radio stations wouldn't even play songs long than 2:30 and if someone sent in a single longer than that, it would get cut off at the end.
