It's not bad. It feels like Superstar and Blue. Lyrically, the same Marina True Colours x No More Suckers x True shit over and over. Which is kinda OK but a terrible choice for a comeback song and i hope the album as a whole doesn't sound this uninspired.

Its alright. I dislike the chorus but I can see everyone else liking it the second it gets released. But the rest of the song seems fine for me. It's cute. its like a mix of Froot and ADIAML for me.

Handmade Heaven was actually the song that made me a Marina fan because I saw people in Lana's Insta comments dragging it to hell for some reason, gave it a listen out of curiosity and fell in love with her stuff

It’s decent I guess. I’m convinced the music video will make me appreciate it more. Her vocals are beautiful as always but idk what to think about the pitched vocals…

I like it, I think it’s super catchy, something different than what she’s done before and it’s a great lead material.

 

I used to hate love + fear because it was such a downgrade from her previous albums and had downright unlistenable garbage songs (not naming names but ). Don’t get me wrong it’s still definitely her worst album and concept but between the releases of l+f and Man’s World (which also felt underwhelming) I accepted the fact that Marina will simply not release better project than her first three albums. That made me enjoy ADIAML and now butterfly much more without those expectations.

i dont get the 143 comparisons. at all. as someone who unironically listens to womans world from time to time, they are not the same lol. womans world is sort of embarrassing since it lacks three quarters of lyrical content compared to butterfly under the writers of 6 names. even tho the chorus is annoying, theres genuine effort in butterfly, thats all im going to say.

I’m a butterfly  its a fun song I don't mind it
