Charlottexseax 8,029 Posted July 15, 2021 Remixes are supposed to have a creative vision behind it and be inspired, these remixes are just bad and boring..
ChaoticLipster 24,734 Posted July 15, 2021 I don’t think I’ve bothered listening to remixes of any artist for at least 6 years, 99% are just awful and not worth the damage to my ears. 8 Quote Arches are Illusions solid at first glance

KeybladeMeister 6,487 Posted July 15, 2021 I actually don't mind this remix... And I love that Tove wrote her own verse as opposed to just singing one from the original track. ??♂️
vrtvie 2,274 Posted July 15, 2021 Tove part is really good, but the remix production is so bad, it ruined the original sound. Her team, WTF. It's way worse than the Muna and Blossom remixes that I am able to enjoy.
BluebirdXO 7,679 Posted July 15, 2021 Can we blame it on her new manager? I miss Jess, at least her ig is open
vrtvie 2,274 Posted July 16, 2021 I hate Jess for letting the black and white album cover happen as well as no single covers on Spotify like what the fuck
KeybladeMeister 6,487 Posted July 16, 2021 The production of the remix isn't great. Someone leak the stems so I can make an extended remix

Hundred Dollar Bill 21,809 Posted July 16, 2021 I do appreciate & enjoy Ancient Dreams, but I still feel like her first three albums are all stronger??? I’ve listened through it a few times now & I’m kind of sad that I don’t love it as much as everyone else seems to love it…
strangeandwild 141 Posted July 16, 2021 Ngl. I'm still kind of disappointed. I feel this artists Marina hires are good producers, but somehow they are unable to bring out their full potential in her songs

Thunder Revenant 20,977 Posted July 16, 2021 Tove Lo is a guarantee for a halfcooked and basic sound. It's no suprise this sucks. Y'all wanted her so hard on a remix and now you're still not happy 2 Quote Just do it. Just do it - don't wait!

I love that it's black and white minimalist Oops It's not necessarily that I hate the aesthetic, but her face is so small and the rest of the package is just plain gray background and I'm really not fond of that, especially since it is so different from the rest of her discography. Anyway that's purely subjective, so I don't care about it that much; what is serious is those single covers, i.e. Superstar, Orange Trees, and Karma that didn't even have a cover on mailing list. WIth David at least I'm happy to see everything having different art covers. Nonetheless, the promotion (incl. vinyl delay, "hot pink" vinyl for Man's World etc.) is so bad this era I am speechless, though I'm unsure if it's his responsibility or Atlantic's.

The content would have deserved less generic songs. 7 hours ago, vrtvie said: Oops It's not necessarily that I hate the aesthetic, but her face is so small and the rest of the package is just plain gray background and I'm really not fond of that, especially since it is so different from the rest of her discography. It reassures me that I'm not the only one who thinks these singles clearly deserved separate covers.

Personally, I don't like the way she promotes vulgar sex and debauchery parties on almost all of her songs. The remix is useless, the least worst of this era but at least as someone said here she tried.
