I missed my 10 year Lana stan anniversary sometime back in September, but Ride was the first release i got to experience as it came out 

Happy 10 years Paradise! 

I remember it took me a few listens to warm up to Cola and Body Electric but wow this EP called to me like a siren song.

I think objectively, Paradise is her best work.

This means I've been a fan for ten years now! Paradise was already out when I finally decided to check out her music for real, and I remember wanting to go and see Tropico live at the cinema it was premiered at but I obviously couldn't since I lived halfway across the globe, haha.

Ride remains as one of her best songs, and that's a fact!

I know it was in 2014 but the fact she had jessica lange singing her song on one of the most popular tv shows at the time was a major win

I have been going to the LDR Village Instagram once every hour today to see anything for Paradise or the Paradise edition of Born to Die. I know I'm delusional but I'm going to keep hanging on to one last sliver of hope.

happy 10th birthday, paradise! such a fantastic project from lana's repertoire!  i agree that paradise is the perfect extension to born to die, it remains faithful to it's dark, extravagent, and groundbreaking sound, while adding a very soft and luxurious cinematic quality, i also love the religious themes, it adds a lot of depth to the lyricism and the music overall
