In regards to vocals…is this not the woman who has sang through a piece of paper on multiple songs and said in a Lust for Life interview that she likes to play with distance from the mic, etc to get different vocal effects for different songs? Not every take is going to be crystal clear, because she doesn’t want it to be 

 

I think the issue here is that this album is soooo wordy and diaristic that songs like Fingertips and Kintsugi completely fall apart if you can't understand what she's saying, because most of the meaning is found in the words.

Honestly sometimes I wonder if I just have bad hearing though because I watch reaction videos and half of them seem to understand everything she's saying while I'm hitting replay/searching this board for lyrics like a crazy person
