my guess is that she's going to lean into the fingertips style more, that's why she's always talking about it in interviews etc., because its probably what she's working on perfecting on the album she's working on right now. so yeah, long-form diaristic pieces that merge her poetry and music into one

She has proved herself to be an amazing songwriter many times, but I want next album to be more like A&W,

imma need time to understand where it sits for me, i havent been able to read the lyrics and that is a big part of loving an album for me, so far it sounds good. idk abt fishtail, it was a bit forgettable for me. absolutely adore how paris texas is followed by grandfather and then by Let the light in such a beautiful track set. so far im thinking of something like 7.6 but i know it is gonna grow more on me mostly bcs i listened to the album during my online english class...
