Thank you 🙏🏻 I quit smoking more than 10 years ago, so I've got this. The only thing that trips me up each time is relationship issues or some other drama. It's a coping mechanism. But a really rubbish one. So I'm not fallin' for it again. Can't wait to get to the 3 month mark as I know that there's no going back after that.

Bluelake 2,908 Posted May 27 Saw a tweet that said the “whoa-oh-oh-oh” part on “Him & I” by G-Eazy and Halsey is Lana. Is that true?

blackenedrussianpoetry 2,516 Posted May 31 Do you think lana played a persona/character throughout the born to die era? since yesterday, i started to think that she may did… ? Question mark edit: i thought that way just bc reading off the comments from 2011/12 interviews… but her lyrics are too real life to be much of a persona/shtick (except loli and off to the races which are the only ones i doubt abt its origin story off the album)
Rock Candy 1,843 Posted May 31 1) Doin' Time is her best mv 2) Should we expect the "best of" collection for some major event or anniversary? Maybe with remaster of the tracks

Some of the serious songs are obviously based on her real life when she was a teenager and her Lizzy days but the album as a whole feels like a satire of the American Dream, pop culture and female stereotypes - kind of almost like Marina's Electra Heart which is also probanly the reason these two albums were always compared to each other then.

Are you talking about the lyrics or the way she behaved then? I was talking abt the latter : )

But about her behaviour, I don't think that she played a character, like in interviews or live shows. It was her first time being in the public eye, in the centre of the media, so she was just very shy and her behaviour may have looked like awkward. She has said before that she never needed a character or persona for herself when she could've had.
bluechemtrails 27,265 Posted June 5 I admire the way she always keeps an eye on her overall work of art. There are so many ways to step in the wrong direction, but Lana seems to know exactly where she wants to go. She always has the big picture in mind.
Beautiful Loser 49,582 Posted June 5 I don’t think Lana performs that many songs off Ocean Blvd because many of them are so painfully personal and self revealing. They can be difficult to sing every other night, maybe they’ll be performed later when she has some distance to them. 6 Quote LB DEMOGRAPHICS SURVEY 2024 | SECRET SANTA 2024
That Venice Bitch 28,400 Posted June 7 On 3/26/2024 at 10:12 PM, That Venice Bitch said: The producer of "Strangelove" said this on his 10-year-old Soundcloud link to the song: @/itsjoshiebitch: thank you! I don't actually have access to another version of this; iirc, she created this on the spot with us and then later it seems that other version was made. :-) Not sure what that means for the demo. Makes it sound like it's actually a later version? He also said that he lost the stems to the song in a server crash. Reached out to Robert Logan and got some more info. The 4:00 version of the song is the first version of the song, created on the spot with Logan. He told me he knows the other version (3:47) of the song exists but had no part in it and didn't know if it was fanmade or done by another producer. 3 Quote .・゜゜・ ⋆·˚ ༘ * GIVE PEACE A CHANCE ˚ ༘ ⋆。˚ ・゜゜・. annedauphine 36,030 Posted June 8 I say this in the gentlest and most caring possible way but Lana is looking the best she has since 2014 for me personally. She’s otherworldly beautiful. I do not understand how can someone be this beautiful to the point that I feel like I’m sleeping within a simulation. I just saw an interview and was nearly brought to tears. I kissed this girl it’s insane. I love her so fucking much

bluechemtrails 27,265 Posted June 12 Lana is one of the most popular artists listened during sex https://consequence.net/2024/06/deftones-popular-during-sex/ Quote Deftones are No. 1 when it comes to metal acts, and No. 3 overall, behind The Weeknd (No. 1) and Kanye West (No. 2). In fact, Deftones are the only metal or hard rock act in the Top 10 overall acts, appearing alongside such other artists as Drake, Lana Del Rey, and Kendrick Lamar. https://blog.ziphealth.co/music-during-sex/
PARADIXO 33,061 Posted June 14 I read today that Lana, Rihanna, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are the only women to have sold over 1 million albums in the US this year. It's crazy to think she reached this level of commercial success.
