it still baffles me how beautiful the title track is. it’s my favorite song ever. i cannot think of anything that would be just as delicate and moving. every single note hits so hard…. as blackoutzone said back then, it’s incredibly warm and nostalgic. this song is magnificent and it will go down as one of her ultimate masterpieces

So I open this thread just as I'm playing this song and singing along and it is so cathartic... "don't forget me" "love me until I love myself" like WHAT??? I don't know who i'm singing it to but I needed to put it into the world I guess!

I still love Fingertips so much

It sounds like a very beautiful but sad and tragic theatrical play. It's one of her saddest songs if not the saddest song of hers in my opinion. I'm okay that she used a voice note, despite that her voice sounds beautiful and haunting, very emotional and Drew really worked his magic with instrumental. Fingertips is a special , once in a lifetime piece of art

Fingertips is her best song lyrically. She literally wrote about everything, every word was just there, she put everything into it!!!
