Oh god I'm tearing up to Kintsugi right now

 

I've always had a troubled relationship with my parents -- especially my mother -- including even my sister and other relatives. It was so bad I had to get out of their house last year (now I'm living with my boyfriend). But ever since I moved out, our relationship got so much better... They treat me well, we never fought anymore and they even accept my boyfriend's existence (they never accepted my bisexuality and the moment I started dating my boyfriend they started to treat me and him so so bad). I went to see them yesterday (I haven't seen them since December) and it was such a beautiful experience. I got to talk with my mother so much, we had fun, ate good food (my dad's a professional chef omg I missed his food so much) and they treated my boyfriend so well  

 

Also for the past few years I've been writing an album about them, and my history with them, so Ocean Blvd is hitting a lot with the family thing.
