i haven't watched since the first episode. i really had high hopes because i thought the weeknd's name being put on it, with him acting would be great but its just boring and i couldn't follow what the story is supposed to be. idk. maybe i didn't give it enough of a chance but i thought i tried

I have yet to watch episode 4 tonight, but it’s honestly as awful as the Cannes festival critics said it was. it’s overly sexual without much purpose TBH. 
Lily Rose Depp’s character name is honestly hysterical in French: Jocelyn is a popular name in 60+ year old grannies; the Weeknd can’t act to save his life, plus he has that dreadfully ugly rat tail that Celine Dion’s feu husband had in the 90s. 
The only plus side to this mess is the music and the fact that it depicts how domestic violence and abuse can settle in in a relationship. 
Im still on the fence about continuing watching it; it’s similar to watching a train wreck I guess.

I’ve seen some of lily’s scenes such as the magazine shoot and thought she did really well but I just don’t buy her as a popstar- her demeanour is more like a sexy reality tv star or I could buy her playing an actress, royal family member or model.

Omg I just finished watching the fifth episode. Definitely my favourite from the show, and not a single sex scene? They really said PLOT >>> PORN

The episode was so good and I really thought it was going to have a somewhat happy ending, until Jocelyn got back with Tedros. Had me feeling so pissed off like, girl… WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! 

And we didn't get to find out what happened with Jocelyn's ex-boyfriend who got falsely accused, or Diane's music career, or her assistant Leila and why she left. Also, I would've loved to see what took place during those six weeks… 

I know unresolved plot points are kind of Sam Levinson's trademark at this point, but now I'm sad there seemingly won't be more episodes. Five is really short for just one season anyways.

I also wanna take a second and say that I kind of love the soundtrack of this show

I definitely got major Lana vibes from Jocelyn at many points, it was kinda interesting so I wonder if she really was on the mood board.
