2009 - Florence & The Machine - Lungs

2010 - The Beatles - Abbey Road. this was the year i'd gotten my iPod

2011 - this one is between Born This Way and Ceremonials... i had both of those on repeat once they were both out and distinctly remember listening to them both heavily. Ceremonials has fucked me up to this day still

2012 - Born To Die

2013 - this one is between Electra Heart and The Family Jewels... i had a big Marina era then and loved her, her message, her character she built. it was a lot of fun

2014 - Ultraviolence, Lou Reed - Transformer, The Kinks - lola vs powerman..., dark side of the moon

2015 - tame impala - currents & lonerism, honeymoon

2016 - this year it felt like i'd listened to a lot of random stuff. kind of playlist music and unreleased Lana, honeymoon made it's way into this year a lot too for me

2017 - alt J - an awesome wave, LFL

2018 - How Big How Blue How Beautiful comes to mind this year. it didn't resonate with me when it first came out but with time... it definitely became a soundtrack of that year for me.

2019 - NFR, Good Kid Maad City was played a loooot, the wall

2020 - 2023 has been a large mix of things. Chemtrails, Ocean Blvd, T2 - It'll All Work Out In Boomland,

if i fuck this model and she just bleached her asshole and i get bleach on my t-shirt, imma feel like an asshole

i know why its embarrassing but can we admit wether u like melanie or not, this one specific album that she really, really nailed and this album is just so perfectly done, the quality was real and the music was immaculate and it hasnt lost its beauty throughout the years so its not a shame to say u can sometimes listen to it now or used to listen one day:oprah4:

i won't lie this is a really well crafted album and she did really have something captivating going on with her storytelling and all but some aspects of it are very um... questionable :bebe:

i do think this sound aged quite badly tho, it didn't really stood the test of time and it started sounding straight dated. that's why i'm embarrassed to admit that, at one point, i considered this album to be the best of 2015 in my tiny little head. somehow i thought this was better than masterpieces like honeymoon at that time and quite frankly i don't know what to say for myself. i don't know that person mariah-carey-i-dont-know-her-02.gif

oh i can relate and i can see what you are talking about, ive known the album not that long, only maybe 2 years, so for me its not dated yet but i can clearly see it to happen and the reason would be an extreme overplay, cuz the songs are simply so good:defeated:idk how i Will feel about it in more time, but i can see it might get Just old if id listen to it constantly, this album can entice u for a long period of time but it also need a long period of time of resting after it, i think

its Just very rare of her level of artist making such strong and accurately made album, where everything would be on point let alone it simply makes very good streams even before tiktok era

2015: How Big How Blue How Beautiful (My first era I experienced & anticipated as a FATM stan) & FROOT by Marina (I officially got into her during this time, I knew abt Electra Heart before that but I didnt care abt her)
