The 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards - 2024

to be very realistic i have a feeling lana isn’t going to win any of her noms. the nominations are slightly unfair because she didn’t really get any radio air time, what seems like hardly any promotion, and what popularity she got seems like it came from her loyal pre existing fan base and through word of mouth.

I mean not necessarily. Jon Batiste doesn’t have that loyal of a fan base or is that popular and has still won multiple times. He’s a Grammy darling but still. Often the most popular songs don’t win at the Grammys and a wild card nominee takes it home.

I think Lana will win at least one award. She has an even better chance with Jack being a main producer of the album/A&W specifically since he’s loved by the Academy.

im just so excited to see what lana will wear (if she shows up :toofunny:) :trisha: hoping for gucci ngl, but either way she always slays :sadcore5:

she wore gucci a lot because of her connection with alessandro michele and since he isn't on command of the house anymore i don't really think she would wear it. i'm 90% sure she's going to wear zimmermann

am i wrong :eek3:

I mean if were talking lack of promotion, the instagram drama, candy necklace mv, ocean blvd billboard in tulsa, random sporadic suprise concerts, elvis appearance, waffle house, magazines, skims even the "late" glastonbury set and possible engagement all contributed to promotion!

its just not typical promotion as in shoving her music(or this specific album) on every radio and performing it on every talk show, which she really doesn't need although id love it for some fun stuff to watch.

idk about ur guys radio station but mine are still playing 2018 lizzo so I don't think radio would affect it that much lol, never heard sza on the radio either (maybe u guys have?) and she's the big one to beat it seems!

she's got huge off of tiktok this year and visiting cities she hasn't been in in years also, I don't think she's got a bad shot :glasses:

I hope she goes extra and wild on the outfit, in a good way not the variety way

i love the Zimmerman dresses she wore to concerts but I feel like the type she’d choose for Grammys might be a bit flat
