I disagree. The "giddy up" and "his cowgirl is gone" lines place it firmly in the country genre for me.

but they're just simply lyrics, and so what it is? i understand country has garnered a bad rap because of how it presents itself in the mainstream, but old-school country is certainly a lot more quality, and this is literally just an acoustic guitar track, it isn't like she's putting on an exaggerated southern accent or anything like that
