Lana to release new song "Henry, Come On" with Luke Laird - LEAD SINGLE

Recommended Posts

Everyone will be very disappointed when this song is released as the first single. Fans have waited for way too long and you can't find a more underwhelming song than this one (well, except Let Me Love You Like a Woman).

I feel like the first full week of April is probably when this is dropping. That’s soon-ish and enough time for fans to get a taste of the song before she ignores it plays it at stagecoach

Such a bizarre choice in an already baffling Lana era. To me, this limbo phase started the moment she posted the Henry snippet, then kicked into overdrive with the Lasso announcement a month later. Why drop a 1.5 year-old song that's been tied to two albums - one of which was scrapped or reworked? She hasn't even mentioned TRPWS beyond one single IG post four months ago, and it's supposedly dropping in two months. Hasn't the music evolved beyond an acoustic guitar ballad by now? @pantene123 said Henry is the Change of the album which just adds to the confusion.

The only way I will be happy with Henry as the first single is if it's somehow the Fenway intro song  :nails: Past, present, future, I see in you *henry*:silly:

When it's A&W 2.0... :ma:

This literally is so confusing to me. “Sirens on a budget” but Henry (the literal definition so far of sirens on a budget) is “the change of the album” it makes no sense. Unless Pantene meant lyrically? But even then, change fits LFL pretty well lyrically too

I thought he meant that it was a weird choice for a single as if “Change” was the lead single for LFL, not that they are similar.

Yeah but that still doesn’t make any sense bc if the album is sirens on a budget, and Henry literally sounds like sirens on a budget, what makes it weird for a lead single? I guess if we ever do get the album we’ll know but based off what we’re told, it’s all confusing
