I actually believe Biden dropping out at this time was the best decision HEAR ME OUT.... 

 

If Biden had dropped out and left Kamala with the nomination before Trump's assassination attempt, it would've been over for the Democrats. We knew Trump's win was sealed if Biden had remained in the election, and I believe it would've been the same for Kamala. Now that the assassination attempt frenzy has died down, Biden dropping the bomb announcing his departure from the election only creates more attention towards the democrats, and EVEN MORE considering it is very likely Kamala will get that nomination (plus she already has a lot of support). I feel like Biden's inner circle knew he was going to drop out and they just waited for the right moment to announce it.

I know tons of people that ended up hating Trump, have been constantly saying “they couldn’t find anyone better than biden or trump?!” AND think J.D. Vance is scummy and flip flops too much, so I think this could actually pull a lot of voters towards the left. That or completely backfire due to lack of organizing 🙃

they know anyone with half a brain debating Trump is dangerous to their whole platform

It won’t make it anywhere in the courts. A democratic nominee hasn’t even officially been selected or accepted yet. If this happened after the convention, and/or state filing deadlines, it would be a different story. 
 

It might still be a little messy, but as long as they act quick and there are no surprises at the convention (think unity), it should be fine.

Obama won 2008 and 2012. Hillary won the popular vote but did lose the electoral college. It's possible that we're ready.

I think so. We were really close to doing so in 2016, but a historically disliked candidate with baggage was running against a surging populist. Not to mention she was horrible at campaigning, acted like an elitist and chose a terribly boring VP candidate. 
 

Kamala is undoubtedly an upgrade, especially with her prosecutorial background. Assuming she doesn’t hold back, she’ll take Trump to town in a debate. If he’s even willing to debate her.
