Confession: after Butch Ware (the Green Party's VP candidate) completely blew it when it came to abortion and trans issues and because Claudia de la Cruz and Dr. Cornel West were thrown off the PA ballot... Idk what to do. There are no candidates I'd like to vote for. I was thinking of holding my nose and voting Kamala but that would betray every ideal I hold dear AND it would upset the Muslim and Palestinian friends I have. :/

Just a reminder, you do not have to disclose who you voted for to anyone. You are also allowed to lie about it if it comes down to that. I know it's not pretty and any sane person wouldn't be happy about having to make that choice but you do have to make it.

good point! I wanna minimize the amount of damage that I can by voting. Kamala is looking like that choice.

1. Good. The reason I'm concerned is bc my Muslim and Palestinian friends say that voting Kamala is voting for genocide and that she wants to destroy Palestine/Lebanon/Iran, etc.

I mean this in the nicest way, but voting Kamala is the best thing you can do for your friends who are Muslim and Palestinian and voting third party at this stage is voting for Trump. Trump will handle the Gaza/Israel situation way worse than Biden and Harris has and Harris has come out saying there needs to be a ceasefire. And if you're in PA, it's dire we don't start a fight for a third party/5% of the vote thing right now when so much is at stake. I know you know this stuff but i can't stress it enough, we NEED your vote. it could be the matter of Trump winning again and it getting much worse internationally and domestically. 

 

make your decision based on what you feel you should do, but please please PLEASE keep her in mind when you vote. i get being upset about how it's been handled and I agree with you it should be handled better, but now isn't the time to make this election a single issue election, i don't think. it's about right and wrong and if he gets in there, it's going to be worse than it is now for us in the US and those in other countries. 

 

Kamala has called for a ceasefire on multiple occasions throughout the year but unfortunately, she isn't president so she can't really do much except advise Biden what she would do. whether he takes that into consideration is out of her control. i think she'd be much better for the middle east and international affairs in general but that's just my opinion

I don’t want to put pressure but if you are in a swing state, the rest of the country is relying on you. There are plenty of things at stake not only the rest of our country, but  other countries as well.

This pisses me off so bad, Yes her supporting Isreal is definatly gross but, trump supports russia and OMG if they get support who's to say who the next country to be attacked will be after they finish with Ukraine. And before speaking on Isreal v Palistein please do your reasearch into the 100's of years of history between these two country's, educate yourself well on history instead of only being interested in activism because TikTok told you too.

I feel like it’s pretty obvious Kamala is the only choice in this election. A vote for anyone other than Kamala is a vote for Trump especially in a swing state. I’m not even American but I am so nervous for the turning of this election. It’s so important and will mark a huge turning point in the future of American politics, for better or for worse

It's not lying, Nobody beside you has any right too know who you are voting for, I am a Palestinian supporter, 2 of my best friends are palestinian and it feels horrible to vote for Kamala but its the only choice. If their was another choice I would have made it 100%

Very bold of you, I already consider myself to be well researched and educated on the topic. I was speaking up about the liberation of palestinians before you socks even began to care about what was happening on that side of the world. My point being : Kamala is by FAR the better option this election, and being a single issue voter on the basis of what's happening overseas is throwing away your vote and wont change a thing.
