well i mean yes, but it’s also one of my favorite lana albums alongside “lust for life” and they both have a strong aesthetic,

I agree with this for the most part, but I guess you never know what could be going on in people’s lives behind the scenes, and not all negative experiences in life necessitate a romanticised song about it. So you never know really.

 

However, to further add to what you were saying, Lana has been making music like almost 20 years (if not more?), if she was gonna give up, she would have done it when she wasn’t getting any traction, as Lizzy Grant. But now she has that voice she’s always wanted, and people want to listen to what she says. I don’t think that’ll ever change either.

And every time she's gotten the feeling to stop, she somehow gets a second wind. It happened in 2012, in 2018, it's happened every time she had the thought to quit. She never will, it's just in her blood to be a musician and poet, it is what it is. If she chooses tomorrow to never release music again, I'd be okay with it, but it doesn't seem right and she'd end up coming back eventually, I'd think, once she has something new to say.

Yk always imagines that the closest thing to stopping making music is just to retire as a musical artist, I imagine that when she's older and retires she'll spend her days singing in bars, just like she used to do in her lizzy era, and probably start publishing books and writing poetry

People expecting UV numbers and impact when the only description we’ve gotten of the album is “sirens on a budget”  while sirens on a budget is my dream, the GP is still stuck on 2012-2014 Lana production, and while Ocean had some nice big production moments, that doesn't seem to be the direction of this record. 
 

in regards to the alleged artwork producer, i really liked his work on Endless Summer Vacation, and I could easily see him take the Wyatt photoshoot and turn into something really hot summer night in the bayou esque. But, him posting a grainy picture of video games era Lana, with video games as the caption, makes me think it might be something not TRPWS related

But I mean Video Games is also one of here most well known songs so maybe that's why he used the photo and lyric from it to tease something without spoiling something from the actual shoot
