You’re right about 4 years being long.

Most of your examples are some of the shortest time between albums though and are not considered « standard ». Two years is usually standard

BoZ and Eclipse are split on Mood Ring. I think it’s because the vocals in Mood Ring are like Writer in the Dark/White Dress which BoZ doesn’t personally like. 

 

Also confirmed that Solar Power sounds like Freedom by George Michael but fwiw BoZ isn’t very good at describing Lana songs

White Dress is the best song on COCC so Eclipe is right here. Also i listened to Freedom and i cringed so hard while listening to it. I hope i like it if her songs really gonna sound like this
