No wonder this isn’t billed as a Lana song and she isn’t promoting too much. She barely wrote it - and that’s fine! It’s a fun, summery, one-off hit to hold us over until what’s to come

I looooove her songs that are just pure fun. Like sure this isn't a discography highlight/an earth shattering masterpiece but it's so catchy and will probs end up being my most played song of the year. I've said this before but I'd really love a full album of lighthearted fun songs like this and Peppers.

the worst part of when a song drops is wanting more. Tough is a certified summer bop and i can't stop streaming, but i fear i need a whole album like NEOW.

I know Charli said Apple was kinda inspired by Caroline but god I hope that’s not the remix that features Caroline in my mind that would be such a WASTE. Caroline is NECESSARY on Everything Is Romantic remix however.

lana went to utah to accompany jen for jen’s dad’s wake (i suppose, since he passed away recently unfortunately 💔)!! i think this is such a cute interaction with the fans but also i hope it brightened up jen’s day  lana is an amazing friend

I’m not feeling the “there are multiple versions of Girl, so confusing with multiple female artists” theory. That would kinda make the Lorde version less special and run the whole concept of it into the ground. A big part of what makes this so monumental is because it’s Lorde, and the layers behind that. If she did this with Rina or whoever it would be such a non-event. I still see people throwing Marina’s name around (give it up) but their whole beef was never that deep and there’s really no depth to their dynamic. Their beef literally started and ended with Marina sending her fans after her for doing a similar photoshoot as her almost a decade ago, and present day they’re not friends. There’s really nothing more to it. It would not match the concept of the song.

exactly about the people who live in boston like maybe i'm just biased since i traveled for this but i don't think that would have been a good solution  and everyone seemed very excited i don't know where that complaint is coming from (if people weren't singing or something i don't think it's bc they were over it, i think it's bc they were, for lack of better word, locals )
