PARADIXO 32,940 Posted October 27 The song is good, but my main problem with it is that it simply lacks the authentic and spontaneous nature of the music she's trying to make. It sounds calculated. I hear the Bloody Mary resemblence, but the difference between a song like Bloody Mary and Disease, is that the former is full of meaning and it's clever, while the latter tells me nothing. The lyrics are the ultimate reason why this song has no life, and they really don't go with the music. I hate the "ahhs" in the pre-chorus, and also the long "ahhh" in the chorus and intro. They don't go with the music either or even with nothing at all. The Nine Inch Nails/etc. comparisons are way too exaggerated. Some people hear a distorted beat and will take it as a Homogenic reference. Or hear a guitar and label it as "industrial rock".
