Lady Gaga

i don't really understand the point of the album covers in relation to the actual music itself. like the title and covers don't relate in any way shape or form. it's not that dark of an album, i was thinking it'd be wildly weird again, but it's mostly just lady gaga making pop references to 80s artists in new songs that start to bleed together after a while. don't get me wrong, lana does this all the time too, so it isn't that gaga's album is bad, it's just... kind of meh for me still. i do like some of the songs, it's much better than chromatiflop, but it's just meh right now on my list. i still think it'll age better eventually. i definitely like it better now than at first listen

This exactly my feelings. Her albums have always been loud- but this one feels especially… LOUD.

So… rumors about Gaga & Bey performing Telephone together at Coachella have started to swirl.

It would be the best thing to ever happen at Coachella. Nothing would ever compare.

Honestly, minus a Vanguard/Super Bowl performance, I think this might be their last chance to do it. Telephone’s video came out fifteen years ago today, time is ticking. I always thought that they were going to do it at Gaga’s HBO Monster Ball special in 2011 but something got in the way. Again, I thought they were doing it at Gaga’s Super Bowl back in 2017… but then it came out that Bey was pregnant.

It would be a great way to do a acknowledgement to Gaga stepping in for Bey back in Coachella 2017. Very full circle.

Just imagine if Gaga performs the song and Beyoncé steps out of a telephone booth!! The collective gag for everyone!

LUCINDA WILLIAMS posters on the floor.... wtf.... SO niche and that's one of my favourite albums of all time. and FJM Fear Fun in frame... Something shifted shit's about to get real GOOD for me fr :hype: I'm actually accepting this impossible converging of 4 of my favourite artists in one image as a cosmic sign from above....

What upon first listen I thought was a corny garbage fest of an album is LOWKEY sounding like a classic today... Insane. Like even The Beast and Blade of Grass sound enjoyable.... The album really highlights how important packaging is. It sounds 15x better when you disregard the artwork because the creative direction is SO at odds with the sound!

I see blonde hair, lighthearted, kaleidoscopic visuals. Instead we are presented with the polar opposite. Should be like camp Elton John vibes honestly.
