I actually prefer The Altar over Goddess. Goddess has songs that feel "deeper" but it's also a quite stale album with few variations in the sound. The Altar feels much more dynamic.

I just ordered the two LPs from UO online. I really hope that Goddess is still the exclusive red vinyl. It still said "UO Exclusive", but the vinyl color was listed as black..........

I bought Goddess a while back in store from UO and it was supposed to be the UO exclusive red vinyl, but it ended up being the black vinyl with a transparent red slipcover to make the black and white cover seem red.

Ugh, the album is kind of bland and monotone

 

I had high hopes for this.

 

Still, I really like the singles choices. FWM, Better (sadly not on the album, don't know why) and Gemini Feed. Those are really amazing songs
