Oh look, another (digital) version of the album for sale for only 8 hours (this one includes an acoustic version of Slut)

I love Taylor but this is truly grossly exploitative to keep doing this to her fans. This is the type of horrendous sales practices that make so many people put off by Taylor bc they think she only cares about money and sales (which she clearly does)

I really, really wish she would stop this. Like, what is she trying to prove? What difference at this point does it make if she sells more? At least it's "only" $6 but she really needs to stop

Literally, she is just doing things for her fans I would be thrilled if Lana released music and new merch as often as Taylor done.

i don’t know if i’d say she’s “doing things for fans”, i mean, it’s clearly just a tactic purely to get more album sales

 

if it was purely for fans she could’ve just released it as a single, available for streaming and everything… but no… that one singular track is locked behind an entire album sale

if there ever was a plan, I’d imagine it be scrapped due to the 1989 TV success. She’s not one to cannibalize her own success (and I’m pretty sure she didn’t think her own song would overthrow Cruel Summer)
