I'm digging in newspaper archives and I found some Lizzy stuff, idk if it's real Lizzy

well, lizzy/liz is a common nickname for somebody named elizabeth, it could be her

Okay, so if i remember it right, i found an article from 2005 mentioning May Jailer (the name was written literally like this) but I couldn't get access to the article because I don't have the subscription. But as much as I saw, there were only jails mentioned.

 

I found a Lizzy article too from Sept 19 2008 which was before one of her shows or?

are you able to view any of these articles? what do they say? she performed at the mercury lounge on september 20, 2008 which is very close

- there's a mention of a rumored "oh say can you see" video, alongside queen of the gas station and smarty, we know that there's a qotgs video, but the other two are still not 100% confirmed, so take that with a grain of salt, just thought it was interesting that it was specifically mentioned alongside the other two which were rumored for years (now we know for sure one of those do exist)

 

- this seems to be another early version of the born to die tracklist which was posted by ldr.fm mods, without you, dark paradise, and hundred dollar bill seem to be the bonus tracks

 

 

resistance was included on an album titled "slam-complete studs collection", oddly enough, it seems like this album is from 1993? according to the post it was titled as "resistor" on the album (there was an amazon link to it, but unfortunately it no longer works)

 

 

- somebody from reeve carney's band mentioned lizzy grant, at the time, her myspace was called "therichwhores" so this was probably during 2007, he called her "terrific" and "really talented"

 

- "bollywood hawaii" which is the laptop demo of "maha maha" is titled that because that's the title that princess superstar gave the instrumental ("bollywood hawaii in space")

 

- the "final" or "alternate" version of st. tropez may just be a rumor, a rumored "better" version of betty boop boop was also mentioned but that could very likely be false

 

- allegedly a fan become friends with lana and she sent him songs, "future jazz" and "endless summer" which later become freak... very likely fake but still interesting  

 

- lana was planning to scrap west coast, but after dan auerbach reworked it, she liked it and decided to keep it for the album

 

i didn't go through the entire thread but i found some interesting things!

 

afaik god bless america was only an alt title for born to die, the self titled album only had one alt title Nevada which came from 5 points record website if i remember correct, i'm assuming that's what she wanted to call it before 5 points was like it should be self titled!

when it comes to developer options Firefox is much better! idk what you are exactly taking about but as a amateur web dev I can say Firefox has many more useful features

I feel like there’s a NY newspaper article from 08’-09’ that mentions God Bless America as the album’s prospective title! Bit vague on what the actual source is, but it’s definitely been posted somewhere around

I can only remember this tweet [if there was something else, let me know!!]

As we know, the final masters of Lana Del Ray/Nevada were completed in February of 2008, with the album being set for a release in February of the following year— but later scrapped/delayed, and ultimately seeing a release in January 2010. 

 

Just a theory, but I think the tweet may have actually been in reference to an (early) version of Born to Die, when she was working on a new "first record". From a 2011 article, when asked about considered titles for her then-upcoming album, Lana stated:

 

I have four titles that are always in rotation in my mind
1. G.B.A (God Bless America)
2. Do U Luv Me Yet?
3. The Best of Lana Del Rey
4. The World Is Ours

opening for somebody isn't the same as singing background vocals, but it does seem like they were involved musically to some capacity  who knows, maybe they recorded songs together  i don't believe she was dating mike mizrahi until late 2008 (november, december)/early 2009 so she could've been dating moby during 2008

Yeah, I mean singing back vox and opening an show isn't the same but it's still some kind of an indicator that they were somehow collaborating. Still the story is quite complicated...

There isn’t any hope with that pic unfortunately, besides for Jerry (idk their username) possibly, who used to be romantically involved with Eclipse/111 on here & leaked a few things - he used a blurred version of that image in an edit
