Dan Heath is definitely the worst imo, all of his songs sound the same. There doesn't seem to much variety in his cinematic, orchestral production.

I hope one day we get to hear the 1st version of UV that she recorded and produced herself with Blake before they met Dan. Songs like Flipside, PWYC and maybe G&R to an extent, seem to be the only survivors from this session and they definitely have a different edge to them

yeah true, but I remember she said that they first recorded the album with just a session drummer and guitar, and then they did the whole bring-fire-back-into-my-life stuff with Dan. So I wonder what it sounded like, and I guess the tracklisting was completly different too. That's why to me like flipside and stuff might be straight from this scrapped draft of UV since it's so minimalist. But maybe i'm just reaching so

I feel like Dan does the best at capturing the raw & wild side of Lana that I prefer. Nostalgic but new at the same time. A god in the studio
