Unreleased songs acknowledged by Lana

Omg what? So that means Axl Rose was recorded in 2001? I'm devastated because I class my songs by years and it seems inconceivable for me that Axl would be anything other than 2008

I wouldn't worry too much about it - It's never a good idea to rely on Lana for accurate details about her history.

I remember hearing something about how the crowd requested Never Let Me Go at a show once and she responded with something along the lines of, "how do you guys know about that one?"

In this interview with Nylon, she references Disco and another song, possibly Pin-Up Galore or Driving in Cars with Boys (blue mascara).

"I would go over different rhymes in my head, like rhyming 'disco' with 'go-go,' writing about girls with blue mascara and black eyeliner, and about all of the men I had met who I just loved. It was a very liberating, penniless, hilarious, fun, fun time."

In this interview with Rolling Stone, she sings "Trash Magic" and "Disco" for the interviewer.

"There were these nights that I enjoyed so much, just staying up and writing songs." She cites a sparse, Cat Power-ish tune called "Disco" ("I am my only god now," she sings, cheerily) and "Trash Magic" (sample lyric: "Boy, you want to come to the motel, honey/Boy, ya wanna hold me down, tell me that you love me?").

In this interview with The Guardian, she references the 211 songs that had been leaked.

"All 211 of them," she sighs. "Just one more element of the unknown in my daily life." She says she has no way of knowing who currently has access to several years' worth of material, and no way of controlling the slow-drip leak of them online, including songs written for other people and at least one - Black Beauty - that was originally scheduled for Ultraviolence.

I love this thread already, hopefully we get more in the future. I'm sure she is aware of all her leaked songs by now. It's not that hard to find :awk:

She talked about So Legit in Rolling Stones: http://www.iheartpop.com/lana-del-rey-talks-so-legit-lady-gaga/

Also that UV track by track where she mentions Methamphetamines.

Good catches! Totally forgot about methamphetamines mention. added them both

I remember reading about Boarding School in an interview during the UV era, it was either the interviewer or Lana herself who mentioned it.

EDIT: I distinctly remember that lyrics were quoted from the song in the interview as well, it clarified some of the words that we weren't sure about

She responded to a question about NLMG in a Q&A at the Ride premiere. Someone asked her if she had any plans for it and she said it would probably stay on YouTube like the rest of her unreleased songs :rip:

Is there an unleaked music video of Lana with a mink coat? Also could lana posting the smiling mime gif on Instagram allude to her working with smiler again?

I assumed that she is maybe making a studio cover of Smile by Nat King Cole? idk she probably meant nothing by it.

She mentioned take me to Paris in an interview didn't she? Sort of sheepishly, something along the lines of it not being very Parisian at all. I can't remember where... maybe she just said it to a fan...

I remember this as well. I'm pretty sure it was in the UV era on a radio interview.

i was wondering about that, too; however, i feel like she might have been talking about the demo. there is major quality difference between the two.

During an interview on a Swedish radio station Del Rey revealed the title saying "I can't remember writing a song until I was about twelve, and it was called "China Palace".

While doing a track-by-track commentary of the album, Del Rey explained that "Ultraviolence" was a reworking of a song she had written previously called "Melancholia".

St.Tropez The title was first confirmed by Del Rey directly on her private Facebook page. She wrote in a comment asking "can i fwd the st tropez song to Silvia?

Hollywoods dead Facebook, Lana Del Rey wrote:

"Luv New Song w Very Favourite Super Producer Chris Braide"

When asked what song she was referring to, she replied:

"Called Hollywoods Dead"
