VioletsnRoses 50 Posted August 30, 2016 I think the songs Out with a bang, Bel-Air, Starry Eyed and God Knows I Tried ---are the best that she has ever created. *Carmen, and BTD are wonderful too*
Unknown 3,175 Posted August 30, 2016 Best song : I don't care if it's a cliche but Video Games is the best thing Lana has created so far- everything to do with it (the lyrics, the vocals, the music video) have me CLOCKED when I listen to it. Also Bel Air is stunning Best Live performance : Both Body Electric at the iTunes festival (the bit at the end where she's really deep going OOOOH YEEAAH) and Blue Jeans at the Scala Club Best Unreleased : changes every week but atm it's Hollywoods Dead(don't bully me)
delreyfreak 5,342 Posted December 7, 2016 Had to go back and find this thread to add that the entire bridge of "Hollywood" is one of Lana's best musical moments. It's so ethereal and perfect, I can't even put it properly into words.
My Sparrow Blue 689 Posted April 10, 2017 *The verse in Swan Song that begins with 'Do you Like, Do you like where you've been and yoir going to?'. Heavenly *The bridge in Off To The Races. The mix of the hip hop beats, the orchestra, her voice ... *Her voice in the chorus of Money Power Glory, and also the strums of the electric guitar after each word. Also the lyric 'The sun also rises on those who fail the call'. * The way how she sings 'Around You' in the bridge of Honeymoon, as well as the drums in the background. *The guitar intro to Blue Jeans and Brooklyn Baby (infact Brooklyn Baby is just perfect). *The high note in Cola. *The bridge in Angels Forever Forever Angels, Florida Kilos and Ultraviolence. *The way how she whispers in Jimmy Gnecco in some of the verses of that song. *Her cute accent in Elvis. *Gods and Monsters chorus! *The guiat solo at the end of Flipside and Shades of Cool. *The way how she sings the words 'Black Beauty' in that song. *The way how she sings 'He's got the fire and he walks with fame' in Sad Girl and also the guitar in the verses. *Basically all of Shades of Cool but especially the bit at 5:04 in the video where this beautiful harp/chime(?) noise plays. I could go on forever ...

softdecay 539 Posted August 30, 2017 The laugh in Elvis How she sings the "Watching me, wa-watching you" in Hit & Run The "No holds barred, I've been sent to destroy, yeah" in Music To Watch Boys To In WTWWAT when she sings the "Cut a rug, lean into the fucking youth" The way she sings the "Move baby, move baby, I'm in love" bit when she performs West Coast live Everything about Art Deco, but especially the "A little party never hurt no one" bit "There's something in the wind, I can feel it blowing in" and "There's something in the water, I can taste it turning sour" in Change "1, 2, make it fun, don't trust anyone" in Kill Kill "Woopin' the house down, show him who's the leader, bring ya baby, down down, go cheerleader"

WildMustang 14,760 Posted August 30, 2017 I really love the pre-chorus of Heroin "Life rocked me....etc" the melody is so full of desperation and complain like my life 2 Quote ...just you and me feeling the heat even when the sun goes down...
loleetah 4,084 Posted August 30, 2017 - the "I'm in love lyin' in the sand" line from Kill Kill - Almost all of Radio but for the most part the second verse. Her delivery of it is just beautiful in every way. - "I'm not afraid to say that I'd die without him" -Off To The Races - The entire chorus of Video Games - "You way ahead of the trend, g-get it" -American
Make me your Dream Life 88,065 Posted August 31, 2017 Honeymoon's opening strings, and the bridge, where she sings each second line in it, the first two are the best. Her tone is so beautiful and sweet to listen to

Doll Harlow 12,367 Posted September 6, 2017 "This is my commitment, My modern manifesto" and "Out of the black and into the blue" in Get Free. The whole climax of Heroin. "There's only 24 hours and that's not enough to lie like you lie" in 24. "I can't break through your world" in Shades of Cool. Pretty much the whole song tbh. Also the whole vibe of Ultraviolence. It feels so melancholy and cool at the same time (Cruel World, PWYC, Old Money, The Other Woman). "One for the money" in Million Dollar Man. The guitar in Blue Jeans. Her two voices in Off to the Races. "Feet don't fail me now" in Born to Die. "You call me lavender, you call me sunshine" in Mermaid Motel. "1 2 make it fun, don't trust anyone" in Kill Kill. 1 Quote You call me lavender, you call me sunshine.
Constantine 4,074 Posted September 7, 2017 The little fragment of vocals that comes around during the last chorus of guns and roses and goes from one ear to the other "Jimmy told me that" w its otherworldly layered vocal tracks The crescendoing choruses of White Mustang The spacey synth in Love The solemn piano melody in Money Power Glory The asphyxiating feel of Cherry. She barely lets the song breathe by having the second verse come immediately after the first chorus. Idk I love it
reputation 6,321 Posted September 7, 2017 Moan in serial killer is good. But I'm gonna have to give it to the part where she sings "and I still can see blue velvet through my tears". So powerful
RiverColaLight 94 Posted October 16, 2017 I looove the synth in the last West Coast chorus. Gives me chills. The piano in the final chorus of God Bless America The haunting organ bridge in Religion. Stargirl, even tho it's short, its memorable. The minimal production, and the outro is kinda trippywith knocks in the background and lana singing higher and higher are awesome The ''white lines and black beaches'' mumbling part in Summer Bummer. Florida kilo's production in general - the warped guitars The synth buzzy outro's in In My Feelings and When the world was at war The tunes - idk how u call it - on the background of the 13 beach chorus The first verse of cherry - especially the bass drop. Video games its outro and the humming cant think of any more rn but i know theres more
salvatore 21,769 Posted October 16, 2017 the guitar during the bridge section of the video games demo is heavenly the extra vocals in radio the extra verses in DMD demo the electric guitars in the unleaked version of SS & NA demo the 'i've got the ice, you got the fire; i got the stuff- to take you higher ahhhhahahahaha' in the DP demo just the demo quirks r dope 0 Quote Thoughts on Yosemite.
