Like I know everyone hates on Coachella bc of the lyrics or w/e. But I kinda like how present it was, and how selfless the song can be. It's been a year since that incident of Otto Warmbier coming back home, and I guess it tugs at the heartstrings, in a sad, hopeful way. We need more hopeful anthems.

However, it does have her highest heights (Groupie Love, Get Free, Heroin) but it also has her lowest lows (Roachella, BPBP, In my Feelings)

When I’m in the right mood, BPBP comes off as a really touching track to me

Sometimes I feel like I can really feel the pain in her voice when she sings the verses (which is quite obviously about Barrie)

The chorus “we’re just beautiful people with beautiful problems” sounds even more heartbreaking/powerful within the context of the demo’s lyrics.

“And red are the color of your eyes when you drink too much

You pack your place, you pack a punch”

Followed by

“But we’re just beautiful people with beautiful problems”

It’s so bittersweet
