Sometimes I'm pretty glad Lana does not follow her fans advice .. Every era would be full of cringy kitsch

casting a spell and telling people on social media wasn't a bit kitsch?  :creep:

i stay away from using the word cringe, and if the cringe police was real and effective they wouldn't let lana's discography alive  :biblio:  :creep:  just looking at how her detractors look at her lyrics, and that from every era (but BTD mainly, look at blue jeans which i love, but yeah almost every era) nonetheless i'm glad people could see over that and appreciate stuff for what it is without much unnecessary fuss

So after mixed reviews of the White Mustang vid, yes or no, would the fanbase want another video, of Coachella? oLHrBqf.gif

I'd rather eat shit from a sewer. :lel:

Like...if Coahella was more acoustic without the trap beats, I think it would be nice to have a video. But I just can't enjoy the song so I doubt I'll enjoy the video too.

Still better than most of the fan suggestions for outfits and visuals.

I did not say her stuff is not kitschy or cringy at times, but people really want to to BLOW with second-hand-embarassing

Just do it. Just do it - don't wait!

How has Lana come this far without merchandising cute undies with the words "my pussy taste like Pepsi-cola" on the back?

Those things would sell like crazy

This is big news for me. Having her participate in a Leonard Cohen tribute and putting her in the company of Elvis Costello, K. D. Lang, Sting, Philip Glass, and others is very good press, imo. I hope she has a new Cohen cover (or six) in store for us. Also this from the article seems promising:
"Additionally, the tribute will be filmed by director Jack Bender (“Game of Thrones,” “The Sopranos”) for an upcoming special."

So i guess that unreleased album isn't happening...

Given she nuked her instagram and twitter, I'd say the project is a goner too, but I'm praying she doesn't want to be pegged as completely (and depressingly) predictable, so that she'll actually go through with the project just to surprise me (and countless others).

Oh I missed that part when I read the article - I hope the performance be better than the BBC recording we had earlier this summer! ♥

@loleetah response # 7742

when you get up to "Don't let me be misunderstood, if you don't get it, or misunderstood it, listen again (in fact, keep listening in repetitive loop. )

and is also why the exquisite promo/cover Chuck Grant shot of Elizabeth on the tour bus (going on a star tour that includes the two sisters like any other

going past star Lana Del Rey's star home)

and to others- the music in Coachella is spot-on perfect for the rat-a-tat message frantically almost rat-a-tat-tat style urgency.

Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Totally unique. a mixture of Brian WIlson Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Elton & Bernie. Born to Die/Paradise is comparable to Elton's Captain Fantastic. All the records need to be listened whole. Waiting for a box set vinyl of all 400 songs not on any lp
