the production is really bad guys ... there's no other way of putting it. the songs and their melodies deserved better

the production on IMF and coachella is tragic, truly the low point on such a beautiful record  :defeated:and i'm not dissing the trap beats, which i liked in hm. i think they were just done wrong and needed more work on them. They could have gone on a more organic lane perhaps and used actual instruments: mika's relax take it easy was all instruments and it still sounds awesome, i also like 80s synths and i'm not against electronic vibes. 

always liked coachella, liked it when it got released while yall were still bitching about it but the production...  :facepalm:

when it was said that the song wouldn't be on the album i was like ''yea ok just a cute song about current events which she just wanted to be out there or whatever'' but while listening to it on the album i always feel like it could have been so much better and not so... cheap  :hooker:

GBA's rapping bridge made Eminem's 'Rap God' quake. Let alone Cherry's barely audible background vocals with basically same bridge as chorus :teehee:

 

Are you implying women's rights aren't more important than spices? I am TRIGGERED

 

A basic instrumental with a basic beat > beautiful guitar and gunshots? :crossed: Someone here is wrong!

 

Unnecessary cussing that contributed nothing to the lyrics is better than one of Lana's magnum opuses? I think we have to have a talk, ~

Of course I don't think spices are more important than women rights lol. I said Cherry's lyrics > GBA's lyrics not Cherry's message > GBA's message. The thing is that GBA's lyrics don't live up to their purpose, which is sending a strong feminist message.

 

The swearing part was not meant to be taken seriously lol
