I don’t mean this in a shady way at all, but as it’s clearer that things aren’t okay with her and her mother, I really hope she has a therapist. On top of everything else that’s happened to her the last few years (her stalkers, that guy who wanted to kidnap her, etc.) I hope she has someone to talk these things through with.

I must say I am very disappointed. I'm sure years ago Lana's management threw their hands up in the air when trying to deal with Lana. Albums, tours, interviews, promotion etc. need planning and structure and at some point Lana said let me just do things on a whim as my muse guides me. OK fine so now we know how stuff works in Lana land. We deal with it. But to post something on Mother's day referencing "Mothers" and clearly leave your own out is kind of immature. YES as adults we get to choose our friends our "family" and hopefully surround ourselves with people that support us and we can support. Lot's of people have a bad relationship with their parents and there is no law that says you need to have anything to do with them. Lana's Mom may be a flaming asshole but Lana is not 16 and she is not you or me. She's really going above and beyond to demonstrate how much she doesn't feel for her mother, let alone see her as a motherly figure. I'm obviously not in her shoes and I don't know what has obviously caused a rift between the both of them, but I feel like it's too much effort being put into showing you don't like someone on a day that's dedicated to her. If you really don't care for her/don't want a relationship with her, this sure doesn't look like it. It looks like a cry for help honestly.

Jen only ever referred to the baby as "L" on social media and said the name was a surprise, which makes me wonder if Lanz accidentally spilled the beans ... that'd be so her lol

for a split second when i first saw it i thought it said SHE was having a baby, i almost had a heart attack. 

2 of the shots of Lana where you see her natural skin are great. Freckles and all. As amazing as smartphones and cameras have become there is one thing I hate. So many photos of people, selfies and the like look more like illustrations than photos. I like to see the texture of a persons skin and not some computer generated human.

she is NOT EVER a spokesperson for the 'government" nor a figure for you to pick apart when she doesn't make a public donation link. In FACT, she's been posting instagrams of small businesses & other individuals (like clairvoyants) who can also use business to feed themselves right now... 
for gods sake, she is not a freaking global ambassador, she is a freaking singer/songwriter who is absolutely contributing in ways many others are not (i.e. the ones singing a stupid imagine song or Ellen Degeneres laying off her previous dedicated staff to hire a third party staff to do her home shows)
 
she is a singer & an artist; with a generous spirit,,,, who has used her music to donate to charities & privately does so as well (not to mention the people she helps like giving food to the homeless at a gas station...) i'm so tired of people picking her apart for not doing "enough" when she does a lot and more than is required....
so cut the crap & go whine somewhere else while people are dying, or do something useful with your time & call your congressmen / women in your area to advocate for those of us not being helped and represented. 
(this is not an attack on you - im sure you're wonderful, but im tired of seeing comments that she isn't doing enough to help financially)
