I need more Justin Parker tracks in my life.

Just based off titles, Art Deco seems fucking stupid.
But in the end it will probably be a good song so whatever  

only the ones that they most anticipate 

This is whining on a very high level BUT

I don't like her low registers as much as on her older material (VG, BD, BV). Lines like "We both know, the history of violence surrounding you" or "You are what you are, I won't change you"  sound off.
 
Her "mid" register sounds great though, like "... will never grow old" ,"or whatever you want to do" or "I'll let you be bad" are all such good vocals.

Honeymoon (song) is absolutely gorgeous. I don't think there's anything odd about thinking that. What I find strange is people thinking HBTB is one of her best songs.

Not gonna lie, I don't think there'll ever be a Lana song that tops West Coast or Off to the Races in terms of production, the production on those two literally slay my world 

Hello! So, Keeping this community isn't free, and it isn't possible to make much money from the ads.

This was because our server wasn't able to cope with the huge load of people trying to access the forum (over 50,000 people trying to access the forum on April 14th) We expect the demand to exceed this when Ultraviolence is finally released and the events leading up to it. We have now agreed with our server provider to allow the server spec to grow automatically when the demand meets exceeds our current specifications." 
 
This was back in the Ultraviolence era, since then the growth of the forum has skyrocketed. In the month of July alone we're had 750,000 people try and access the site which led to multiple instances of regrettable downtime... So far in August, just under 1 million people have tried to access the forum... The server that we are currently on isn't able to keep up with this demand, and the further demand that the new era will bring.
 
Because of this we're asking you for a small contribution to help support this place and keep it running. Any and all money that is contributed is funneled strictly towards the monthly server/software bill. Not a single penny is pocketed for personal use. I created Lana Boards because I adore Lana and love being able to create and join in on a place where we can all stay up-to-date on news and socialise with each other. I truly enjoy this place and never desire to make a penny off of running it. The time I put into this place is solely out of passion for music and a strong desire to create a nice space for everyone to interact on.
 
To keep things completely transparent, I currently pay $950 a year for our forum software and our server. I don't mind picking up some of that tab myself, but just if you enjoy this place, it would help out if you could make a small donation to help pay that bill.

now that im listening to TLY and HBTB on a loop i really think the album will flow really well, even better than BTD but not as good as UV

I'm only just getting around to processing the actual titles we got on the tracklist...Title and length of The Blackest Day sound like magnum opus material and the throwback to Backfire in Salvatore ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It's obviosuly iconic and it'll always be her most successful and known album ever (I hope she's able to top it commercially someday, idk) but that doesn't mean we all love it.
 
EDIT: Take "love" as a really big word. I obviously really like Born to Die and I recommend it to non-Lana fans, but I don't LOVE it as an album really. I fucking loved the era, the videos, the low budget tour, the performances and Lana's passion... and of course it brings me so many great memories, but if we forget about all that stuff for a second and focus on BTD as just an album, yeah I don't love it.

Guys, don't mistake people saying BTD is their least favorite as saying its bad or they hate it. I still love the singles and like I said in my other post I occasionally listen to and am brought back lots of memories from the rest. I still consider it one of my favorite albums and really the one that started my passion and love for music. I just don't get that excited to hear it which is not really unusual for an album I've been listening to for 3 years straight, and even then I still go through phases every now and then where I'll like hearing it. Its stuck with me much, much longer than any other entire album ever has and probably ever will. I can't speak for everyone but I think people here posting that its their least favorite probably feel the same way. Its not bad, its just we decided we liked the others more.

I'm curious to know if anything unreleased is going to be on there. I know none of the titles immediately jump out at us, but no one would have suspected Old Money to me a reworked Methampheatimes. Which reminds me, why are people thinking Salvatore is related to Backfire? Never mind I just realized that's the first word of the song Not one I listen to often. I still don't think its related.

This thread became a mess.
I think all songs on Paradise are flawless and they are my most overplayed Lana songs ever.
But let's not argue about that. It's okay that we prefer different songs.
