I thought I missed something in the few days I was gone. Almost 20 more pages of nothing to sift through. I was legitimately excited.

It's actually a reissue of the standard edition UV with 4 new tracks. All the songs from the standard edition of UV will be hip-hop loon remixes commissioned by Haynie and Cedric Gervais. The 4 new tracks will be rejects from Paradise that Lana has self produced on GarageBand.

Each song will receive a video with a custom filter made by Instagram exclusively for Lana.

She will have 1 show on each continent. No merch will be sold. Phones will be consficated. She will perform an entire setlist containing her best unreleased songs.

DR9 works with the film but doesn't separate tbh. Selmasongs is beautiful though and works with and without the movie.
    (This always makes me laugh)

Holographic works within the context of the film, but as a standalone song it's unpleasant. Are you saying you actually like Holographic Entrypoint

Homogenic is the best album in my opinion but it's closely followed by Vespertine, Medúlla and Volta (in that order).
Sadly, I only have the Vulnicura slipcase digipak CD from her entire discography and even though in discogs they're so cheap my parents still won't buy them
My fave B-side is Foot Soldier, and my fave song ever would be either Vertebrae by Vertebrae or Immature... Enjoy is also up there.

I feel like if Nowels takes the reins he has more ability to work with whatever vision Lana throws at him, whereas Emile and Auerbach each have a very particular schtick/aesthetic that Lana enlisted for that purpose. Sure, he's brought the repetitive orchestral sound, but I have a feeling that's because that's what Lana described to him. He's also done amazing productions like Summer Wine and I Don't Wanna Go.

Speaking of Rob, someone at last night's show had cut-outs of him and Chuck and they held him up during "I pledge allegiance to my dad." She laughed and nodded.

Billboard wrote an article about her performance and they were positive. They mentioned that she was saddled by a "muffled sound system" but they were still positive about her performance and vocals. They even titled it saying she made a "captivating return."

I feel like 50% of the fanbase loves Florida Kilos while the other 50% hates it..

Which is ridiculous because everyone should love it. It's amazing.

oh you fucking fool - first of all, you aren't going to find anyone mainstream who hasn't been autotuned. some make it more obvious than others or purposely put it up, but programs like melodyne are always used. otherwise people like you would be commenting 'omg her voice was slightly slightly off there'. secondly, have you seen her live performances? the girl can fucking sing. her voice is not created via autotune. and lastly - i can take some stupid lyrics of lana's out of contex as well and compare it to something really touching kesha wrote. wanna compare Betty Boop Boop to Kesha's Harold? not to mention that blah blah blah was in no way attempting to be anything like what cruel world is. that's like comparing Rihanna's Only Girl in The World to Leonard's Chelsea Hotel n.2. One is extremely different than the other but that doesn't mean one is better than the other. they are both strong songs in their own right. you wishing that all music can be lumped into one category and compared by the same means is so foolish.
