    As it sounds, title.

I know it's pretty early off, and we've only gotten Mariners Apartment Complex and Venice Bitch as a taste of the album, if it even is indicative. Though, i'm gonna go off by what she mentioned w/ a recent interview of the next record going by surf rock vibes, and some RHCP influences too.

If any of that's true and nothing changes til the top of next year, with the box set I'd love:

A groovy kind of color associated with the record, with pink, either a pastel malibu shade, or a nail polish-like magenta.
Orange, like a burnt orange, or with yellow, like a blend of it to make some sort of neon lime green, tinged a bit more towards the spectrum of yellow slightly.

The return of picture discs, for the main lead single(s), and a DVD of music videos too/ tour dvd w/ interviews

Of course, some beautiful photos, like from the UV box set.

and maybe some sort of charm, like a bracelet or necklace.

I was thinking of something like, a kind of bookmark or stickers, but that might be a different vein of products.

    So, ideas?

edit: All these ideas are great! Keep em coming!

I still remember when she first started teasing the title track on her IG: I was on a trip to California, UV was my soundtrack, and one evening, while getting back to the hotel for the night, I saw her post, with the chorus, the tigers, the hypnotizing strings
the title track is synonymous to mysterious hot summer nights still to that day. And the rollout for this album was THE most perfect one she has ever done.

(Almost) all of Lana’s albums are masterpieces in their own ways. Paradise is simply beautiful. No one writes songs like these….

I wish this was a full album in 2013. Enough time for BTD to die and enough time for UV to be done.

Rank, rate, whatever, but comment on each track, i'm sure most of us here have heard the new album a good 5-10 times by now.......

    Ride - 5/5
I liked it when i initially heard it, but after having it all this time i have really fallen in love with it and think it's one of her best songs. So gorgeous.

    American - 5/5
I love it, i have the same feelings about this that i do about Ride. Everyone seems to love it to, i wouldn't be surprised if it's the next single.

    Cola - 5/5
My favourite song on the album. The build up to the finale is amazing. I think live this could be really great, Lana's beehive hair might explode trying dem notes though.

    Body Electric - 4/5
A little LESS creepy than the live version, but still dark and sexy. I was hoping for them Satanic "wooooo ooooh ahhhh" ad libs at the end like when she does it live, but that's ok. Cool song.

    Blue Velvet - 4/5
It's nice, but i do need to be in the mood for it. The short running time works i think, it gives you just enough, any longer and it may have felt a little boring.

    Gods and Monsters - 3.5/5
I want to love it, i really do, but i just don't. I do like it though, but it's missing something, maybe it's the utterly flat chorus, but i just feel like the track goes nowhere. It just stays the same the whole time and then just....ends. Anyway, it's still got a nice beat though and i like the "feel" of the song. Maybe it will grow more on me over time.

    Yayo - 4/5
I prefer the Nevada version, but this is still nice. Considering everyone acted like it was the end of the world when the snippet for this new version came out, i'm happy to say that i don't think it's anywhere near as AWFUL as fans make it out to be. It works for this album, i'll just leave it at that.

    Bel Air - 5/5
So dreamy and cinematic, i think it would make a nice final single to this whole BTD 2 year era. The vocal is beautiful.

    Burning Desire - 4/5
I still think it should have been on the actual disc, but at least it's being kept as an iTunes bonus, so many people will still hear it. Very simple little track, but i do really love it. 1, 2, 3 lyrics......but the production is cool.

It's so easy to get in my feelings when thinking about this era. And it feels great that my love for Lana isn't hinging on nostalgia because the music has mostly objectively gotten better as the albums keep coming. There will never be another artist to debut in the way she did. She was on the cusp of everything re: social media and digital marketing etc. The irony being today that everything is SO painfully contrived and focus-grouped the way an artist is marketed and she was labelled a phoney from the get go when it couldn't have been further from the truth... Her debut was really such a lightning in a bottle moment. Stars aligning for her after years of total dedication putting in the work to be a true artist and grinding. And so many artefacts and relics of her storied past to uncover on an internet still in its relative infancy...  Literal fucking magic. Biopic when???

I just find the fact that the cover of one of the most iconic American records about America with a capital A has been shot in England hilariously ironic

The address where the Born To Die photoshoot took place is 92, Penrose Avenue, Watford, England.
Nobody lives at this address it is just hired out for photoshoots.

Yes it is. Its a bungalow in Watford, England, that has been done up to look 50s style and retro. I found where it was on Google maps.

isn't this just one of those houses that's like a stock photo where u can book it to shoot there? Like a company owns it and no one actually lives there.

Today marks 10 entire years of being a Lana fan for me. It was instant. I know the exact date because I discovered her through spillitnow.com where the user who made this cover art posted it in a fan art thread and I commented on July 2 2011.

I remember the absolute wonder and mystery I would scour obscure corners of the internet looking for more info and photos of this artist. Both of which seemed to be so few and far between – no wikipedia page, I remember the first source I found a lot of Lana content was fuckyeahlanadelrey.tumblr.com, the first fanpage. I had never been so fascinated by someone. I was starting to really discover music for myself for the first time and I thought – cool I can really ride for this indie underground artist. That didn't last long This was before Spotify radio which I owe a lot of my musical obsessions to... Lana as been such a vessel for creative output for me for 10 whole years. Her artistry her stubbornness her world she has always so firmly stood in until people were inevitably drawn into it. I really admire her convictions when it comes to her art. I'm so grateful I got to experience her public career trajectory having been so invested from the beginning of it. I know there are a few other members around from that time and it's really funny to me how we've been coexisting in this digital space for 10 years from spillitnow to lanadelrey.fm to lanaboards – which i'm always so surprised at how old actually is.

I remember the first time I listened to her so clearly... She made such a big impact in my life. And everyone turned on her so fast, but now they see BTD as the great thing it is. Truly made a platform for good artists and for... Well, not so good acts. And she's such an inspiration in pop music, gosh, I love BTD ❤️ So much! It was such a fun era! Little angel tryna be Amy on that private concert in France... Even made me think Bradley Soileau was cute LOL
