Some people don't understand that part of feminism is supporting women/people's right to choose. That could mean either wanting to be on your own, or wanting to be a housewife/househusband to a guy/girl. Both should be respected choices. Like you said I don't understand why empowerment needs to be you fighting off every man and going against the grain, like some people just enjoy what they enjoy and maybe they did their own power in that. I'm just tired of people thinking so one-sided you know? Like let people do what makes them happy, that's human empowerment!

Has it occurred to any of these journalist at any point that maybe in the past Lana wasn't just some lost longing puppy who's only desire was to fulfill the needs of her men and she was in fact a woman in charge and aware of her choices and enjoyed doing the things she's claimed in her music? Is there a certain requirement for what is deemed self empowered women? Must all self empowered women have a disdain for carrying such traits as Lana had previously shown? Who's to say she wasn't a strong independent woman to begin with?

The Grammy's and Oscar's truly are trash to me nowadays. They're ran by old white men who are so out of touch with reality, I just wish Hollywood would say fuck it and make their own non biased award shows. But I guess they'll learn the hard way because I'm pretty sure their number of viewers has been going down significantly every year!

Oh of course it's none of our business, don't worry I don't think we should know. I'm just stating to think Lana is happy right now isn't exactly right. Mental illness is something we deal with everyday of our lives, and I know this from personal experience. I was just stating that the actions she's been taking have been very telling, and that many people I know who suffer from depression/anxiety/mental illness/ go through a stage of denial, while also being aware of their illness. They'll start working out, taking care of themselves, telling themselves positive mantras, all while the dark demon that is mental illness is still fighting against that in their subconscious. It's more so a journey of self discovery, rather than finding out how you feel. Yes, figuring out how you feel is important, but WHY do you feel that way. What is the main underlying problem. Yes you can do positive things, but that's like putting a fresh coat of paint on a house that's decaying, you need to fix your foundation first. Did something happen to you in life? Was this sadness passed onto you by your parents? Is it emotional? Psychological? Is it a lack of dopamine? Is your mind regulating chemicals properly? Are you eating properly? Are you on any substances? Etc. There's so many things that play into this. That's why I'm saying if Lana is just telling herself positive things, changing friends and drinking a smoothie here or there, yes it works for a month, maybe 6 months, maybe a year, but it's not a life plan. It's like clicking the snooze button, eventually you have to wake up. All I'm stating is, it's almost impossible Lana went from singing songs like the blackest day to lust for life in less than 2 years time and believing that it's all past her now. Your problems cannot be fixed that quickly. Again, yes it's none of our business, and there's lots to the situation we do not know, but it is very naive to think Lana has fully recovered from 30 years of being depressed.  
I'd say research the interview that leaked from 2017 that's an hour long, it was a magazine interview that was recorded and the recording leaked. Lana cries many times in it, and when asked about being happy, she said something like "I just really don't know" which breaks my heart because I and many others I know have gone through that "hope" for something better while being uncertain about how we feel, when deep down we know we're not happy.
