Immortal is just a gorgeous heartbreak of a song and is truly the best on that album. anyone who disagrees is deaf, blind and mute since the song transcends all senses.

Y'all all saying how good she looks, while I'm just sitting here wondering how the FUCK her managers won a "Best Manager" award after all the leaks, delays, poor handling of shipping and promotion???

Just relistened to this album today, and I can honestly say that God Knows I Tried is her best vocal performance on any album. And quite possibly best lyrically.

i feel like the interviewer was nudging Lana to get to that point of saying she will retire the song. I don't disagree with that decision, but it felt like a swayed response.

For me, it's not that I dislike it (I actually love the album) but the songs don't feel as personal to me as they did with TFJ and EH. Hence why the main songs I listen to on the album still are Happy, Solitaire, and Immortal. I also jam to FROOT a lot, but idk I feel like the rest of the songs have something missing. Maybe I just need to listen to the album in full again or something.
But, I think the hate for the album is a bit much.

I preferred her when she really did music with some sort of ~groove. Like Lowlife or the acoustic version of Everybody Wants To Be Poppy. Everything else is still kind of fun (especially her weird videos) but also pretty dull and it gets pretty annoying pretty fast.
 
Funfact: My mom's phone was connected to my google account for some reason and so she always got my YouTube notifications. Turns out she watched a lot of Poppies weird videos and actually liked them
