i think most of us are just shocked at the teddy bear, and it’s something she chose to buy with her own money (and it was over $200), not something that was given to her by a stylist and then returned at the end of the photoshoot. wbk she wears leather and fur, it’s a common theme in her lyrics and visuals. the teddy bear just kind of took me by surprise and it’s pretty upsetting to see so that’s why we’re talking about it

i have to admit, i’m kind of a little angry now. between seeing how expensive the dresses she’s been wearing for tour are, and then flying around in a private jet, and now buying expensive leather jackets and a quite literal stuffed animal (also..... $200 for a toy that doesn’t really have any “use”).... and then she puts on quite a lackluster show, and her tickets cost as much as the shit she’s been buying, and we her fans can barely even afford to see her and like.... it feels real bad lana lol

aren’t teddy bears supposed to be cuddly and comforting??? idk how anyone could snuggle up to that knowing what it is and not feel sick or at the very least extremely guilty

idk if this has been discussed in this thread or otherwise but i think she’s imitating ariana in the chorus. not in like a copycat plagiarism kinda way but like especially with the turn the radio on dancing to a pop song line coming right before it she’s imitating ariana as if she’s singing along to one of her songs or kinda like ... pretending to be her?? idk if that makes sense lmao. but i mean in like trying to convey something that ariana conveys well, not just like “trying to be her” bc she sees it as profitable or smth. ariana’s music does have a “fuck it, i love you” kinda vibe to it sometimes so idk... just my thots also the dream a little dream of me, make me into/turn me into something sweet and if i wasn’t so fucked up i think i’d fuck you all the time scream ariana to me. i think she was just having fun trying something new and pretending she was someone else for a change
