I Liked the ending. It was better than the whole music video. But the video overall was also better than VOID so I'll take it I guess.
Idk about you but I'm sick of her falling through all these portals. I get it. It's the whole album and it has meaning and it's supposed to feel tiring, but now I feel the pattern is boring and too on the nose already.
 
What's saving me my fan status is that Ive started paying real attention to all the Portals session outtakes, like Death (2020), Hawaii Space Guitar, Garden, Dragons Blood and Mother of Pearl. I'm seeing how beautiful, spirital and etheral this era could have been, and these songs pull me much more emotionally. But for some reason the songs she chose for the final cut make it seem less about the concept she's going for aesthetically and more about human crybabys life. Likes its been a mix up.

Meanwhile Israel has now killed 19,600 people. Nearly the whole world is against this indiscriminate killing of innocent lives, yet Israel and the US still believe it's justice being served. 13,700 children, babies and women killed for "justice" and "self defence".

Also, the top youtube comments on Void and Tunnel Vision send me I guess it's good some people think they're experiencing the peak of her career, but to me it's like they're watching something completely different.

Had a dream that Lana was performing unreleased songs out in an open park surrounded by fans and it was so cute.
I remember one song was unheard of before. It had a pretty stripped back upbeat chill sound like Put Me In A Movie x Brooklyn Baby demo. Some of the chorus lyrics were "I don't care. __________. I was born to dance", and she even sung it in that southern accent, hence why we thought it was old and not new. That's all I remember, but it was a vibe! It's what I would want from Lana if she were to do a beachy album, or AKA 2.0.
And she also looked so happy singing it!

I will say the end of the video where the video game set up is shown did give me cry baby era MV vibes other than that I was not feeling it

First I disagreed with the first post, then I read this and agreed.
Although i loved what we got from Ultraviolence, there was still the change from the original Ultraviolence video (recycling it for Freak really watered it down), the PWYC video never coming through, etc. I think that after Paradise, "missed opportunities" have been SO reoccurring and it shows because theres always something missing. Scrapping Best American Record and getting it replaced with White Mustang was also a big loss.

Very interested in the "club songs" and other songs they made for fun that he was talking about. I hope one day she'll just drop an entire album of those.
