Nectar Of The Gods always had and always will have a special place in my heart  and it kinda hurts me to see it is one of the least streamed songs on the album But having it on streaming services and on vinyl is still a win even if it's a YouTube rip

    There are a few reasons:
    1. Most fans were expecting a "revenge album" with a big rollout/production/budget, after she responded to the accusations regarding glamorizing abuse and cultural appropriation
    2. It was released too close to Chemtrails, and it felt rushed
    3. Majority of the songs are ballads
    4. It's the album with the most leaked/unreleased songs (Dealer, Thunder, and the UV outtakes)

Personally I think the album it's her worst, but still a good body of work though. She should have waited until 2022 to release it; including a couple more new songs (Loved You Then and Now), at least one high budget music video, and a decent photoshoot (I love the album cover but the other pics are average)

I still can't believe she revealed her whole titty on the cover of a vinyl. There was definitely a shift in the culture after that.

old money makes me think of an idyllic, suburban neighborhood at twilight, homes with happy, idyllic, wealthier families, something very typically nostalgic and american, like high school football games, trophies, prom-queens, red letterman jackets, for some reason, like she's reflecting back on happier, more simple times, or thinking of families and livelihoods so different yet so familiar to her

for the next person... perhaps... love!

Can we pleaseeee make this a game? I agree I think it would be fun
Yosemite always gave me remote log cabin on a gloomy day vibes, probably because she mentions a cabin in the lyrics

The next person can do Old Money if they want

Bel Air always transports me to this heavenly atmosphere in the sky- quite literally heaven. I also envision rose gardens with angel decor, almost like the garden of Eden, with rays of light shining down.

What imagery do certain songs or albums evoke for you? It can be Lana related or other artist’s music. Post a description and image of the song posted above, then add a song

I’ll start- my song is Cruel world

    Some examples would be-

COCC makes me imagine running with your friends through a grassy flower field on a warm, partly cloudly/sunny spring day, surrounded by the scent of freshly blooming flowers next to a country club

This one is pretty basic, but Ride makes me think of driving on a summer day with the windows down, on a road trip with music blasting and the wind blowing through your hair:

High by the beach makes me imagine sitting on a blanket by a foggy beach, with a cool, salty ocean breeze blowing:

Venice Bitch will always give me beautiful warm orangey 70s and 90s San Francisco imagery of warm sunsets at Ocean and Baker Beach, mainly because my own memories associated with it and because that beautiful music video <3 (last pic by me)

Wade Crescent was DJing - Nikki Lane’s bf. There’s a big art week going on in LA right now which is why Hans was there and a lot of other art critics. I’ve never heard of this foundation though even though I’m in the art world
