She actually used to clearly put a lot of effort into music videos and photoshoots as an extension of the artistic process. Part of why video games blew up in the first place is because of that. I'm not sure what changed but she doesn't seem to care about the visual aspect of the albums at all anymore.

I wish she'd make a music video like the gucci video. Her videos used to be so good and thought out and now they're basically clips of her doing nothing.

in HM every song had different instruments, even the piano ballads. she even had a guitar ballad (GKIT). there were flutes, trombones, saxophone, etc.

i hate saying this openly but i've never been more unenthusiastic about an upcoming project of hers... there's no direction or distinction put out so far..
MAC and VB made me somewhat hopeful due to the nature of the tracks and they pretty much were compatible sonically on rotation but then this slyvia song is striking the opposite emotional chords and just feels lazy production wise. the lyrics nonetheless are very true to lana fashion and were up to par but that production and cover was just sloppy... im sorry lana i love you

Is this a beautiful song? yes.
Does she sound great? absolutely.
Do I think it makes sense for the album? sure.
Should we have released this over some of the other snippets we heard, with a long ass title, and dumb af cover art? NOPE.
