I know that it's kinda out of topic but is anyone else mad at the fans saying that they want their depressive Lana back? And I am not talking about lanaboards.com particularly but the ones that comment in Facebook under the LFL album cover. And there was one that said "I want Lana to go back to depressive state cause I can't relate to her". I am telling you people some fans really don't get the idea of the album. Isn't the album about enjoying life and about realising that there is soo much to live for?

So many artists liked Lana's cover. That makes me so, so so so happy. I feel like Lana is the girl that everyone listens to, even if it's in secret, because she corresponds to that one mood nothing can explain but her music and voice and that everyone goes through from time to time. You can always dislike her or find her not genuine but you can't deny the fact that she pours her heart and soul in what she's doing. And even if her daddy really paid for her surgery and trailer and first album, then thank you Robert cause Lana is the best thing that has ever happened to me

What made me fall in love with Lana is that her music was like nothing I've heard before and I would like to do the same with Lust For Life

Well actually I started liking Lana when she released HBTB. I was watching a youtube video of top songs of the week and then popped up HBTB. I was really fascinated by the sound and the music video of the song. And that is how i was introduced to Honeymoon. But before all of that i was listening to Rihanna, Katy and etc. But Honeymoon was soo smooth and different that it changed my perspective of the music. And thats how i started listening to Lana. So i can't say anything bad about the record. It's just close to my heart.

i feel like it's a real insult when people call lana's music pop. Not that pop is bad. It's average. But Lana however, is far beyond that. She's on another level

Can we somehow delete the baby's crying? The one thing that I liked about the video was the way that Lana talked to the baby. It was soo cute.

Yes, but on the other hand she thinks TLY and HM in general are jazz, so her track record at labeling genres is really bad basically. Lust for Life could literally be about wanting to fuck on the white house lawn at an anti war protest if Abel had anything to do with it. That's political, but is it "political"? idk. (Did Government Hooker turn into a feminist classic?..) I think I'd rather her drop less obvious but self affirming lines about breaking away from societal/political chains and such (like "I am my only god" that's a really strong, bold line) which, lyrically and visually Love seemed to be aiming for (kind mediocre on the lyrical front but..I'll take it)

I truly don't understand how people could hate Terrence Loves You... it's one of her best songs she's ever made. Also, something to look forward to with LFL is she has already confirmed the lyrics are centered around politics and life so regardless of the sound (which she's never repeated a sound from record to record before, and we have already been told by Ben that the sound is much different from Honeymoon) we are getting fresh lyrics no matter what. It will be interesting to see Lana write about all new ideas & themes. It has potential to be one of her best albums lyrically, something we've never heard before.
