Honestly, I think burqa bans are extremely illiberal and an unacceptable violation of freedom of expression, not to mention discriminatory. Hell, if I lived in France I'd wear a burqa just to make a point, and I'm an agnostic cisgender hetero white guy.

They were really snide about the Middle East comment. You could tell Lana really liked the idea of going to Qatar and Kuwait and they they just sneered at her. "Do you have a lot of fans there" -- how rude!!

I've lived in 3 different countries, speak 4 languages and been to a lot of countries lol. I don't even see what's wrong with my comment. The first part is just me asking if she really has a lot of fans there (charts etc) and the second one me hoping she won't have to cover everything/ change lyrics etc for a concert. What's the problem? Whenever people mention the middle east or islam it's like everyone goes crazy.

Uh, this is a little rude. I don't think it's fair to comment on a race that you're not and tell someone that they're confused because of their race. It doesn't depend on what side you're around the most; it depends on the values that were instilled in you as a child.

I am literally so angry. Not only did she not perform new songs (or any for that matter), but they didn't ask any interesting questions. I know it's just radio, but I thought I literally was listening to a recording of the last interview she did because the questions were so similar.

Hm. I got extremely excited when I saw this because I love everything about the Lizzy Grant days, but this did nothing to give me insight or tell me anything new about what Lana was like back then. Literally nothing. It went on and on about her and this girl Molly and how she was nervous, but not really anything about Lana. I've always wondered what people who knew her back in the day thought of her success and her transition to what we know now, but this didn't give me that much. Maybe I'm being too critical, but I just think the author missed an opportunity and wrote an article that went nowhere.

Time present and time past are both perhaps present in time future, and time future contained in time past. If all time is eternally present then we are still in 2011 right now with VG smh
