My immediate gut reaction to the standard cover was "Ugh." I thought it looked like a cheesy fan edit and that the guy was photoshopped into it. But it's growing on me the more I keep seeing it. I'm gonna order the Target exclusive because I can't quite afford one of the vinyls.
 
At first the tracklist annoyed me because we've already heard a lot of it, but the trailer made me forget how bitter and pissed off I've been at her. She's serving the retro aesthetics we all love again! I got emotional during the Venice Bitch part, I forgot how beautiful the song really is. It definitely deserves inclusion on the album despite being almost 1 year old.
 
I'm truly excited again!! I think once the album is released, it'll be a masterpiece and we're going to understand why it was kept so strictly under wraps. I won't be mad if we don't get new singles next week. I'd be happy to just wait until August 30 and it'll be more of a surprise!

To be fair i don't really think the swearing in Cherry comes across as satire. To me they just sound like ad-libs, and as someone who has a degree in communications and media I definitely am not media illiterate. It's just a taste thing. BB does come across as satirical because the whole song is name-dropping the type of pseudo-intellectual Brooklyn hipster lifestyle. The swears aren't really tied into the rest of the Cherry lyrics, there's no other swearing, and if they weren't present no one would think the song is satirical. so how could it be satirical?

Billie basically took Melanie’s place. A lot of Melanie stans who stopped supporting her during the whole Timothy mess moved onto Billie. Melanie was becoming a huge artist, everytime she dropped a video it was number 1 trending on twitter, etc. Then the whole Timothy thing happend and she didn’t release music for 4 years. During this time Billie popped up and the ex crybabies became Billie fans. A lot of people also think their music is simillair. (specifically the don’t smile at me ep)

I'm just imagining my first listen of NFR and I feel it's gonna be 10 times more special than LFL. This record sounds amazing, VB alone is gonna make me emotional, it's the end of summer, I come back from the seaside, I start university and everything is incredibly exciting...Fuck man, it's gonna be so good

Do you guys think there will be a cover on this one? I feel like this album will fit in better with UV and HM than BTD and LFL, so I'd love for there to be one of her album closer covers. Assuming Doin Time will not be on NFR

Rewatched the trailer.
It does look really good and I still can't wait. Guess I was just hoping for some more-close-to-reality portrayal of school with deep and dark themes. But what was I expecting? She was kidnapped by a wolf, had telekinetic powers and transformed into a demon in Cry Baby.
Anyways, I still know for a fact that Drama Club will be the best song on this album.
