Can't stop listening to MAC. Everything about this song is so pure and beautiful - the lyrics, her voice, the instrumental. Such a lovely track.

Whoops...so apparently I entered this thread previously but I didn't look at the number of pages and I thought I was entering the pre-pre-release thread. I found that this is the PRE-release thread just now, shit! well..

I am incredibly excited for this new era. Like many of you guys said, this era feels different, it feels like it's gonna be amazing. I definetly see MAC as the first track of the record, it's just perfect for introducing it. I'm seeing this next project as an 11 or 13 track album, definetly more cohesive that LFL. Basically everything you guys said on this thread so far (well, for the most part) is exactly what I'm thinking. Your minds... 
 
Also, I can't wait to see the title of the album and the fucking cover!!

this is her melodrama 

The sentiment in MAC is so heartfelt and comforting. These may be some of my favorite lyrics she's written. Shakespeare is shook.

It's really nice seeing all this love for her new music. I dont think i've read a single bad comment on MAC yet which is really surprising (compared to the LFL era). I hope Lana is smiling while reading through the comments here. <3
 
And btw i think she'll drop the third single in December, and then have the album released by late January/ early to mid February.

I wonder how similar the 2 songs she's releasing will be in terms of sound? Like maybe this one is more folky but I wonder how the other one is? I can't wait to listen to these omg. Gonna be a long week

I can't believe i just cried on the bus god that song was amazing and so was the interview

I can definitely see it as the opener to the record. I think it really connects well with Get Free as it has a long outro, and MAC has a long intro. The messages fit together nicely too.
I feel like this record won't be as long as the last one, perhaps 12-14 songs, but I have an inkling that we may get some bonus tracks with this one, perhaps including 'Happiness is a Butterfly', 'Bartender', 'Yosemite', etc.

but i legit dont care because of how amazing the song is

The more I listen to MAC, the more it feels like she's asking her fans for acceptance before she starts her new journey... "And who I am is a big time believer that people can change, but you don't have to leave her".
