This era is so dry we're actually at the point where we've pretty much used every single meme or reaction gif possible and there really isnt anything else to say or do. I find myself going to say something and then realised i've already said it...

If singles were still sold as CDs in record stores, and if I didn’t know about Lana, I’d never pick up Sylvia Plath. That cover looks like some kiddo have made on MS Paint and burnt a homemade song on a CD.

Like...I know to some people single covers don't mean much, but to me it does especially when you know Lana's single covers used to SLAY.
Honestly it's like she's not even trying? Single covers are what draw people to listen to the song, it's like what they say "it's all about presentation".
If I saw the Sylvia cover without knowing about Lana, nothing would make me want to listen to it because it literally looks like it'll be a song recorded on an iPhone and uploaded to Bandcamp or something...
 
But thank god the song itself is a masterpiece so maybe I'll let it slide

I don’t think we’ll get any more psychedelic songs on the album apart from VB, but I do hope we’ll get some more guitars... it feels like they wrote the tracks with a piano and added more things when they worked more on them? So many of them (all of them?) include a piano, and that isn’t necessarily bad... I just thought there’d be more guitars because she mentioned Red Hot Chili Peppers... but then again, maybe she’s not the best person to describe the sound of her songs?

Now I got a question, on the apple event she said "How To Disappear" was the last song she recorded for the album. So, could it mean we're getting this album on march, right?

Listened to it quite a few times now and some parts of it really feel like a continuation or evolution of the Beautiful People Demo to me. I mean meaning and lyrically. It just makes me think of it for some reason.
