For me, I'd die to buy a CD of a live performance because I love the UV vibe all songs gets (OTTR suddenly sounds more dangerous and alarming with the guitar than on the album for example), and when Lana plays with her vocals... it's pure heaven.I hope I get to see her concert one day, I'm still not over that I can't this summer when she comes to Sweden... Too many exams to write and no money for buying a train ticket to travel across the country.

I've honestly never listened to any of his music. Is he that bad? What if he's good on the song? And you like asap tho?

Do any of you ever stop and think while you're listening to Lana how thankful you are for having her ? Never have I ever felt more connected to someone spiritually than this amazing woman . She's an amazing icon , goddess , and such a celestial person who has made her past pain into a work of art . As I listen to LOVE it just gets me more emotional every time knowing that she wrote this for all of us on here , her fans . Sorry for getting TOO emo on here but , I felt like y'all Lana stans would get it ♡

Usually when an artist performs live, it gives them a certain freedom to incorporate improvisation into their songs which they would be limited to during studio recordings. A well recorded live album captures a lot more raw emotion since it's all in one take. And let's not forget the intimate interaction with the fans. All in all, live albums just capture the 'moment' a lot better. It captures the excitement of the fans, the versatility of a bands instrumental structure, and the freedom of voice which a singer can take advantage of as opposed to a strict structure that's common in the studio.

That is so true! I was thinking that the other day! I wish there was a live album for when she performed at Glastonbury or The Endless Summer Tour, her live versions are so different and much more rock influenced ala UV, my wet dream.

I've been thinking that when she gets older, we'll be getting more music that sounds like Honeymoon, The Other Woman, Religion, BAR... you know, a more slow and mature sound.

I'd rather have Cherry and Summer Bummer so the album will be a bigger surprise. Plus, I'm dying to hear both of them at the moment - I'M SO READY.

I've been thinking the same actually. I doubt she will ever completely stop writing music, but I definitely think she'll take much longer time in between her future albums, especially if she'll have kids one day. I have a feeling she'll be a mom that wants to spend a lot of time with their babies when they're small and take a break from being a public figure.So maybe... 5 years in between her future albums? But by then, I think most of us will have moved on and be busy with work and that time in between albums will feel less... I dunno, less dead? Since we have other things to pay attention to.

Not the best place, but mom and I just stepped into a H&M store and it only took a few seconds before I stopped right in front of her, bumped into her and said "MOM THEY'RE PLAYING LANA DEL REY!!!". xD It was Lust For Life and it made me so happy because I didn't think anyone wanted to play her songs except for the SS and Young & Beautiful remixes. :'3

I have a feeling we'll get Albums until Lana is rather old. However, they'll become more spaced out over time. I can see her disappearing around age 40 and then coming back with a new album around 46 years old lol.
 
She's clearly already lost all interest in promoting and performing her music so that worries me. She'll probably always be making music and putting it out though.

I agree. My first thought when I heard that interview of her saying "there are currently 18 tracks" was "that will probably change". An 18-track album is very long and considering Lana's spacious song lengths, 18 songs at the length of "Love" wouldn't even fit into a compact disc. I interpret the 18 track comment as she had written and recorded 18 songs that were all vying for a spot on the album and since then she has likely narrowed it down to 16 or fewer tracks that she feels best fit the record. I'm not saying the 18 track album isn't a possibility, but some people keep acting like it's a for sure thing when it simply isn't.
