How to Disappear honestly has the potential to be one of her best ballads if the production is done right.
It’s just so sentimental and endearing like Video Games. I love her really intimate songs where you can really feel how much she loves the other person
“I’m always going to be right here” such a simple lyric but it’s so heartwarming within the context of the song

Wow what a mess here. Typical for a LB thread. Don't worry guys, NFR will be at least top 3 in her discography... Also, LFL it's not that bad of an album as y'all make it out to be... It's just not up there with the rest of her work, but still pretty good.
Love is an amazing song and nobody is allowed to slander it, cherry kinda lost a little bit of it's spark with time, but still pretty. Case closed.

I was listening to VB again today and jeez NFR really is coming for blood....
I don't think it'll dethrone UV as her magnum opus, but perhaps be good enough to sit alongside it?
maybe the machine gun kelly track will be the guns and roses of this album lol.

Dont you dare to talk shit about Love that song is nothing less than amazing it's a masterpiece Lana gave to us and I'll defend it until I die. I get y'all hate LFL or whataver but Love is THAT bitch, it's not only her second best lead (after West Coast ofc) but it's one of her best songs, the emotions she evoke, the lyrics, the music video wow that's called TALENT and Love has it all!!!!!!! I never forgive Lana for not singing it at Lollapalooza and I won't forgive anyone who dismisses this work of art

I don't think we'll get another White Mustang (thankfully ((even though I enjoy that song as a guilty pleasure -- it is not her finest work, lyrically or musically))). Lana is already proving to me that this is going to be her best era lyrically. Everything I've heard has impressed me so much, as someone that loves poetry I think Lana is definitely getting a lot of influence from different writers and she seems to be getting more intricate with her lyrics. I love them so much. Especially Sylvia Plath, I thought that was some of her best lyrics yet.
I mean, I personally think LFL was a good transition album into this more introspective, Cohen-esque era. Songs like Heroin and even BPBP are imo some of the standouts of her career lyrically speaking, and she definitely seemed to come into this style naturally and progressively. I think (and hope) she is leaving behind all of the parts of LFL that tarnished it (the rap features, the trap beats, some of the mediocre lyrics) and focusing more on pure self expression and inward fulfilment.
